Frank has served as the Senior Pastor at Oakwood since it started in 1997. He and his wife, Robin, who serves as the Worship Team Leader and Director of Music at Oakwood, have started churches in Michigan and Illinois. He is originally from Texas, where he answered the call to the ministry at age 11 and was ordained in 1978.
He has a practical, no-nonsense approach to serving God and others. His transparency and authenticity help people to understand and put into practice what he teaches at Oakwood. He is well known for his humorous speaking style. In his own unique way, his message impacts listeners from all walks of life to better understand the love, grace, and mercy that God has given us.
Frank lives in Saline, Michigan with his wife of 24 years, Robin and four of their five children: Brianna, Whitney, Chanelle, and Zachary. Frank III, is married and serving in Iraq.

Pastor Ron Woody Executive Pastor/Technology Team Leader

Pastor Ron has been with Oakwood since it began in 1997. He was ordained as a pastor in 1994 at Christ Community Church in Ann Arbor, MI (another church where he served with Pastor Frank). His wife, Laura, serves as the church's Office Manager. They live in Saline with their four children: Brandon, Sarah, Noah and Rachel.
Pastor Ron's responsibilities include overseeing the church's technology ministries, leading the small group ministry, participating on the worship team, and teaching Oakwood University classes. On Sundays, you'll usually find him in the back being a geek by the computer.
Outside of Oakwood, Pastor Ron works for Eastern Michigan University as the Associate Director for Academic Technology and Computing Services and has been employed there since March 2000. His primary responsibility is managing the campus computer help desk. Pastor Ron is also an alumnus of EMU.

Pastor John Colman Associate Pastor/Logistics Team Leader |

Pastor John first served as a deacon at Oakwood when it opened its doors in 1997. He was ordained as a pastor in 2003. John and his wife Bea live in Saline with their four children: Martin, Amanda, Angela, and David. In addition, they always seem to be sheltering someone else they have adopted.
On Sundays, Pastor John fills a wide variety of needs, be it filling in for a nursery worker to setting up generators for a post worship service pot-luck.
Outside of Oakwood, Pastor John works as an engineer for DaimlerChrysler AG. He enjoys various forms of motorsports and has been active with the 17th Michigan Infantry, a Civil War re-enactment group.
