Welcome. This page will have information related to the Oakwood Women’s Ministry and the activities they will be hosting.  The focus of the ministry is to engage the women of Oakwood in both interesting and entertaining activities as well as foster spiritual growth and fellowship. The focus of each event is Faith, Fun, and Food. Our hope is to create a fun environment, to grow in faith, and of course we would not be Baptist if food wasn’t involved! We look forward to getting to know you and building lasting, faith based relationships. Please note that the women’s ministry is reserved for women 18 and over please. Keep an eye on this page as well as the Events page for events hosted by the ministry and if you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at girlsofgrace@oakwoodchurch.org.  You can also join our Facebook group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/oakwoodladies
Come learn a new skill, make a blanket, and donate it to a local pregnancy shelter on Friday, March 20th at 6:00pm at the church. (Although we’ll be donating our finished blankets, the skills you learn are yours to keep!) All supplies will be provided. Men and women are invited to attend and learn how to hand knit a chunky yarn blanket. Videos and a hands-on tutorial will be provided. This will be a fun event where we knit and pray over the blankets that we donate to God’s most special children. You are asked to bring a dish to share so let us know what you will be bringing here. If you have questions, please reach out to Annie Kruise (734-649-4987). Sign up here to attend.

Join the Women’s Ministry for an evening of potluck sharing, movie watching, and fellowship on Friday, April 17th at 6:00pm at the church. Sign up here and let us know what dish you will be bringing to share here.
