Oakwood Women’s Ministry
Welcome. This page will have information related to the Oakwood Women’s Ministry and the activities they will be hosting. The focus of the ministry is to engage the women of Oakwood in both interesting and entertaining activities as well as foster spiritual growth and fellowship. The focus of each event is Faith, Fun, and Food. Our hope is to create a fun environment, to grow in faith, and of course we would not be Baptist if food wasn’t involved! We look forward to getting to know you and building lasting, faith based relationships. Please note that the women’s ministry is reserved for women 18 and over please. Join the Women’s Ministry on Friday, September 18th at 6:00pm at the church for an evening of food, fun, and fellowship as we welcome all the newer ladies in the church. Charcuterie board themed dinner with fellowship and fun getting to know you games and ice breakers. We encourage every lady to sign up for this but extra encouragement to ladies who have never attended a Women’s Ministry event. In addition to fun and games, we’ll get input on what things you would like the Women’s Ministry to host in the coming year. Do delay, sign up today. Join the ladies of Oakwood as they travel to Bambi Lake Baptist Camp for the Fall Harvest Women’s Retreat on Friday, October 16th – Sunday, October 18th. Get away to the relaxing environment of Bambi Lake and dive into intimate fellowship and God’s Word. Always an enjoyable time to get to know each other better. Join the Women’s Ministry for their 5th annual Friendsgiving celebration on Friday, November 20th at 6:00pm at the church. Get all the fun Thanksgiving themed food plus fellowship and thankfulness.
