Welcome. This page will have information related to the Oakwood Women’s Ministry and the activities they will be hosting. The focus of the ministry is to engage the women of Oakwood in both interesting and entertaining activities as well as foster spiritual growth and fellowship. The focus of each event is Faith, Fun, and Food. Our hope is to create a fun environment, to grow in faith, and of course we would not be Baptist if food wasn’t involved! We look forward to getting to know you and building lasting, faith based relationships. Please note that the women’s ministry is reserved for women 18 and over please. Join the Women’s Ministry for a relaxing time of retreat, reflection, and refresh at Bambi Lake Baptist Camp from Friday, October 10th – Sunday, October 12th. Bambi Lake Baptist Camp is located at 3468 E Robinson Lake Rd, Roscommon, Michigan 48653. We encourage everyone to sign up for the full weekend but there are various lengths of retreat to fit any life and budget.
Join the Women’s Ministry for our annual Friendsgiving celebration on Friday, November 21st at 6:30pm at the church. Gather with the women of the church for traditional Thanksgiving fare along with fellowship and devotional.
