God’s Faith in Me

When I doubt myself, God has faith in me. When I think I’m not good enough, God has faith in me. When I feel like an outsider, He is my friend and companion. He cheers me on when I have no one else. When I am angry, He calms me down. When I am hurt, He lifts me up. When I have lost my way, He finds me. When I don’t know what to say, He gives me the words. He is my stronghold. He is my life line. Without Jesus, I don’t know where I would be. It doesn’t matter how far I’ve chased empty dreams or how many mistakes I’ve made, He never stops coming after me. That’s my Lord and my Savior.

Job 23:10 NKJV- But He knows the way that I take; When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.

Deuteronomy 31:8 NKJV- And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.”

Jesus will stay with me. He won’t give up on me. When I find myself in a tough spot, He stands for me. He leads me through when I start to trip up and fumble my words. When I start to give up, He tells me to stop, I am His child and He has a purpose for me. When you start to see yourself the way God sees you, your vision becomes more clear. You begin to focus on things that matter to God. Things that are important for your spiritual walk. You find where you fit in. You begin to see His leading in everything that you do.

Matthew 18:12 NKJV- “What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety nine and go to the mountains to seek the one that is straying?

Ezekiel 34:11 NKJV- ‘For thus says the Lord God: “Indeed I Myself will search for My sheep and seek them out.

About Rita:
Being a Christ follower throughout my life has been quite the journey.  He’s taken me through deep waters and trials that have tested me over the years.  I have fallen so many times, and He’s always been there to lift me back up on my feet.  Through a series of broken relationships, I finally figured out what was important to me, putting God first and letting Him lead me.  I love writing and learning, and growing with God.  I have a beautiful, adult daughter that I love spending time with whenever I can.  My hope is to be a tool for God to use to lead others to Him.
