He Knows what He’s Doing

Sometimes we can begin to question ourselves in situations where we think we should have said something, but didn’t. I didn’t say something, and maybe I should have. Was it a missed opportunity. God wanted to use me in this situation, and I blew it. How can I make it right? What can I do? I don’t want to disappoint God. Slow down!!! God gives us what we need when we need it. God uses us for His work, for His purposes. It’s not about bringing glory to ourselves, it’s all about bringing glory to Him. He designed me, He knows me, He knows my weaknesses, He knows my strengths. When I don’t think I have what it takes, He reminds me He does. He knows what He’s doing. When our hearts are open to Him, He does amazing things. We may feel like we are insignificant in His plan, but He’s using us. Satan has a way of attacking our progress and telling us we failed. Satan will set a doubt trap in our minds and tell us we’re not good enough for God. But that’s not true. That’s only Satan wanting to drag us down. Kick Satan to the curb, and seek God everyday. God places us in the right places at the right times. We don’t have to worry, He gives us the right words to say at the right time. He uses us at times when we don’t even realize it. He’s the One who opens up doors, not us. I am a tool He is using for His honor and glory. He gives me courage, He fights for me, He leads me. I am His. He knows what He’s doing!! He’s is always with me. I may struggle for a bit, but He brings me through every time.

Proverbs 3:5-6 NKJV- Trust in the Lord with all of your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

1 Peter 5:6-7 NKJV- Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

Isaiah 40:28-29 NKJV- Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength.

About Rita:
Being a Christ follower throughout my life has been quite the journey.  He’s taken me through deep waters and trials that have tested me over the years.  I have fallen so many times, and He’s always been there to lift me back up on my feet.  Through a series of broken relationships, I finally figured out what was important to me, putting God first and letting Him lead me.  I love writing and learning, and growing with God.  I have a beautiful, adult daughter that I love spending time with whenever I can.  My hope is to be a tool for God to use to lead others to Him.
