Inspired

Writing, journaling, blogging, it all helps me to stay focused on God. It helps me to remember things that are important to me. For me, writing helps me to stay connected with my thoughts. Maybe like a lot of you (or it could just be me), I don’t have a great memory. Writing nourishes my relationship with God. It teaches me to remember, to research, to think, to study, and to learn. I’ve often wondered where I fit into God’s plan. I’ve often felt lost and out of place. Surrounding myself with people that love God has helped me to find purpose. They’ve helped guide me and have shown me ways that God can use me. I have a place to fit in. All of us fit into God’s plan. We all have a designated spot. We have to do the research, we have to pray, and we have to continually seek His guidance. He will show us where He needs us. He will give us the inspiration and tools to do His work.

Ephesians 3:20-21 NKJV- Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Feeling like you don’t have a place to fit in can be discouraging. God never wants that for us. He wants to use us for His glory. He wants us to find our strength and courage in Him. God strengthens us and inspires us to do His will. By staying committed and determined, our strength grows. Our relationship with God grows. We begin to understand our purpose. He uses us in ways we never dreamed possible. He takes us right where we’re at and begins to shape us and grow us for His perfect plan. We may not understand everything that He’s doing in our lives, but by having courage and putting our faith in Him, we know it is good. I trust God with everything. He knows every detail. He knows where I’m weak, and He knows where I’m strong. He gives me courage and strength everyday. He teaches me to be strong and He fights my battles. He’s in control!!!

Philippians 1:12-14 NKJV- But I want you to know, brethren, that the things which happened to me have actually turned out for the furtherance of the gospel, so that it has become evident to the whole palace guard, and to all the rest, that my chains are in Christ; and most of the brethren in the Lord, having become confident by my chains, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.

About Rita:
“The breakthrough point for when my faith in God really started to grow was in 2000-2001. Through a series of trampled relationships, I turned my focus to God. I love reading, walking, and playing challenging word games. I have a beautiful daughter who lives in Florida, and my vacation time is spent with her. I have learned that having a Christ-centered life settles my anxieties and truly opens the door to God’s plan for me.”
