Only With God

We made it through yesterday at work. Certain days can be a little rough, and yesterday was one of them. Only with God, was I able to accomplish things. He settled my stress and guided my hands, and just led me through my work. Plenty of times we feel the pressure but He takes the reigns and tells us to just rest in Him. He eases the stress. We had so much to do. I know that what we were able to accomplish can only be attributed to God’s hands. Thank You Lord!!

Colossians 3:23-24 NKJV- And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.

I have learned that with God, things are possible, without Him, they are not. My hard head can get me into trouble sometimes because I think I can handle things on my own. I can get going on a roll and I forget that I am only able to do what God allows me to do. I can become self absorbed. Oh, how He stops me in my tracks. He knocks on this hard head and let’s me know I’m about to hit a brick wall. He tells me to “STOP” and get my eyes back on Him. Things happen all around us that can distract us and we can drop the ball. Only with God are we able to work through things and do what He has put in front of us to do.

1 Corinthians 10:31 NKJV- Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all to the glory of God.

Philippians 4:13 NKJV- I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

About Rita:
Being a Christ follower throughout my life has been quite the journey.  He’s taken me through deep waters and trials that have tested me over the years.  I have fallen so many times, and He’s always been there to lift me back up on my feet.  Through a series of broken relationships, I finally figured out what was important to me, putting God first and letting Him lead me.  I love writing and learning, and growing with God.  I have a beautiful, adult daughter that I love spending time with whenever I can.  My hope is to be a tool for God to use to lead others to Him.
