Only With my Savior

We’ve made it a little more than half way through the year. It sure hasn’t been easy for anyone. There’s been a lot of loss and heartache for people. Our lives were turned upside down. It’s been anything but normal. I only make it through the chaos and confusion because of my Savior. He promises to walk right bymy side through everything.

Acts 2:25-26 NET- For David said about Him, ‘I saw the Lord always in front of me, for He is at my right hand so that I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart was glad and my tongue rejoiced; my body also will live in hope, because You will not leave my soul in Hades, nor permit Your Holy One to experience decay.

With God in control, I know everything will work out just the way it’s supposed too. He’s the Creator of the universe. Nothing has happened or will happen that He doesn’t have control over. That can be difficult for us to understand, especially now as we go through this pandemic. How do we understand things that we don’t understand? We do the things that we’re supposed to do, and we keep our eyes focused on Him. If we don’t keep our eyes on Him, we start to lose our bearings and that’s when we can get wrapped up in a non-stop downfall. In desperation, we may begin to search out our own answers to everything that’s going on around us instead of trusting God. We may not like what He’s doing at times, but He does things for our benefit and our welfare. We can’t see the big picture yet, but He’s working things out for our good.

Revelation 3:10 ESV- Because you have kept My word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth.

Only with my Savior do I survive.

Isaiah 57:15 NKJV- For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: I dwell in the high and holy place, With him who has a contrite and humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

Have a blessed day!!!

About Rita:
Being a Christ follower throughout my life has been quite the journey.  He’s taken me through deep waters and trials that have tested me over the years.  I have fallen so many times, and He’s always been there to lift me back up on my feet.  Through a series of broken relationships, I finally figured out what was important to me, putting God first and letting Him lead me.  I love writing and learning, and growing with God.  I have a beautiful, adult daughter that I love spending time with whenever I can.  My hope is to be a tool for God to use to lead others to Him.
