Transformation

God’s blessings have always taken me through life. He’s made everything possible for me according to His will. Certainly, I’ve drifted away and taken my own route plenty of times, and fallen flat on my face. He’s always been right there to lift me up and guide me in the right direction. He created me, He knew my destination from the start. He knew all the trials I would face, He knew the heartbreak, He knew the hurt, He knew that I would be this determined person that was going to do things my way regardless of what others thought or advised. He’s always stood with me, held my hand through everything, never letting go.

Transforming my life over the years and pouring His love into my heart has taught me how important I am to Him. It’s taught me how much I need Him and depend on Him. Things happen everyday that I can’t control, we say and do things we shouldn’t and we see others say and do things they shouldn’t. When we know better, we do better, or at least we should. When we have God in our lives, we’re convicted, we know right from wrong. He’s going to show us our mistakes. He’ going to lead us to be more like Him. We can’t change other people, that’s God’s job. We can live our lives for God in front of others and share His word. He takes care of the rest.

Hebrews 4:12 NKJV
The word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intent of the heart.

Over the last few years, He’s taught me so much. I’ve learned how important He is in my life. I’ve learned how much I need Him every single day. I can’t get up and start the day without Him. I give my life over to Him each morning to do what He has planned to do. He lets me know when I stumble, and He helps me get up again and keep pushing forward to Him. The more I read and study scripture, the more I understand things. I see God’s plan in action and I just cling closer to Him. We will never understand things fully until we see Him face to face. Until then, I will just bask in the transformation He is doing in my life. God is good. Always good!!!

Hebrews 13:8 NKJV
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Psalm 119:105 NKJV
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

About Rita:
“The breakthrough point for when my faith in God really started to grow was in 2000-2001. Through a series of trampled relationships, I turned my focus to God. I love reading, walking, and playing challenging word games. I have a beautiful daughter who lives in Florida, and my vacation time is spent with her. I have learned that having a Christ-centered life settles my anxieties and truly opens the door to God’s plan for me.”
